Jamie Rapavy

Jamie Rapavy

Founder & Owner

Jamie has been in the hospitality industry for thirty years. She graduated from FIU (Florida International University) with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. She went on to work in management with various hotels, country clubs and restaurants. After being transferred to The River Club in Columbus where she planned hundreds of weddings over five years, she felt the natural ability to work with brides. The desire to plan their special day eventually led to the opening of Devoted to Details in 2002. Jamie is owner of WPC (Wedding Professionals of Columbus), co-founder of CBC (Columbus Bridal Consultants), is a member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and a Professional Bridal Consultant with ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants). Jamie purchased Columbus Bride & Groom in 2007 where at the time it was just an online directory of wedding vendors. Now she has built CB&G to the biggest and best local wedding resource for engaged couples. She believes the key to success is to not only have a passion for what you do but to constantly educate yourself and listen to what your clients need and want!
More Personal: I have an amazing supportive husband that I have been married to since 1996 who I met in college. We adopted 2 beautiful children at birth – my daughter Jolie born in 2001 and my son Jude born in 2008. Besides my family my loves are movies, all types of music, red wine, traveling, dogs, Pilates, saving money, fine dining, and healthy organic foods, My favorite places to travel are New Hampshire and Ft. Lauderdale. I am very lucky as I have the best job on earth, I have a passion for helping brides and a true desire to help great businesses in our industry become successful!
Tammy Hudson

Tammy Hudson

Senior Account Manager

Tammy graduated from The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communications. Although her career has included on-air radio, flight attendant, and of course event planner, she credits her strong customer service to her background with the Walt Disney Company. In 2002 she began her events career in the corporate world, then moved on to both corporate, non profit, and social (to include weddings) events in 2007. Tammy has continued with weddings, but has always enjoyed the relationships she has made with both wedding couples and wedding vendors. There’s nothing better than becoming a match-maker and bringing vendors and couples together to create their perfect event. She also believes that no bride should ever have to work on her wedding day.

More Personal: Tammy is married with 3 son’s.  She loves to travel on cruises, to Walt Disney World, Las Vegas and to her home state of Colorado (Go Broncos!).

Allison Saulino

Allison Saulino

Account Manager

Allison is a graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis of Convention Services. She worked in the hotel industry for six years before taking the time to raise her family. She worked in Management with both Marriott and Hyatt. She spent time in both Banquets and Catering & Convention Services. Allison’s passion was event management. She is excited about working in the Wedding Industry. She looks forward to using her strong customer service skills to build lasting relationships with her clients.

More Personal: Allison married her husband, Tony, in 2001. They have four children that were born in 2004 – Kelsie, Sean, Samantha, and Lauren. They also have a black lab named Sadie. They are from Michigan, but have also lived in Minnesota, Virginia, and now Ohio. Allison loves to travel, read, and watch TV. Her favorite vacation destination is any ocean beach.

 

Beth Francis

Account Manager

Beth has 15 years of experience in bringing a couple’s special day to life and creating perfect connections for couples and wedding pros. She has enjoyed this journey from many different aspects ranging from planning and sales, to catering and even photography.  Beth uses this wide ranging experience to bring the most fulfilling and well-rounded experience to all of her clients.

Beth and her husband Ron have enjoyed a lifetime together while raising their four amazing children.  They also have four wonderful grandchildren that they enjoy spoiling and spending time with. They now share their Lancaster home with their two dogs, Isabelle and Lily.  Beth’s hobbies are photography, poetry and a good book.  Three things that make Beth smile are good wine, good coffee and good chocolate.

Wedding Planner & Wedding Day Assistant

Michelle is a graduate of Franklin University with a Bachelors degree in Applied Psychology. She has been in the customer service industry for the past 10 years and loves nothing more than helping others. She became interested in the wedding industry when she planned her own wedding in August of 2015. When asked to help with a friends wedding the following year, she was more than thrilled to jump in and assist. Since then, her passion for weddings and helping others has only grown stronger. She started working with Columbus Bride and Groom early 2017 and she is excited to be apart of such an amazing team.
Jenny Whitson

Jenny Whitson

Wedding Day Assistant

Jennifer received a bachelor’s Degree in History from Boston College and a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University in National Security Policy.  She worked for 8 years in the defense/intelligence community providing coordination support to foreign intelligence collection efforts and counterterrorism missions.  She became interested in the weddings industry after planning her own wedding in 2009 and assisting with several others.  She was thrilled to join the Columbus Bride and Groom team in 2017 and looks forward to utilizing the precision, attention to detail, and professionalism she honed in government service.

More Personal: Jennifer is married to the love of her life, Mike, is mother to a 3 year old daughter and an 80 pound fur baby named Moose. She enjoys yoga, loves traveling to new places, and has a passion for baking.
